Hello World!!!
We are 19 days old now. Our eyes are now opened, yet things are still a little blurry to us. Grammy Dawn says it will clear up in a few days. She told us this, and we actually heard her because our ears are opening as well. We hear soft words of love and cuddles and return them with little licks of puppy kisses. Grammy laughs at us because since we can hear, we can hear each other and have begun our own private communication with each other. We mostly just chat about how cool it is to have our every need catered to by Mommy, Grammy and Poppie. Puppy life is good!
We also found our legs.... look out world, here we come... We can now find each other and play, although we mostly play "pile on". Yesterday, Grammy and Poppie came home and found two of us outside the whelping box...????!!!! They figured it out quickly that the two boards across the door were no longer high enough, we climbed out... what an adventure. We stuck close to mommy and were sleeping comfortably all snuggled up when they got home. Needless to say... another board was added.
